Risorse European Peace Facility
Lo strumento europeo per la pace (European Peace Facility di rafforzare le capacità militare del Paese. L’Italia, al pari
– EPF) è volto a consolidare la capacità dell’UE di prevenire di altri Paesi europei, ha contribuito a implementare le
i conflitti e rafforzare la stabilità internazionale. Il fondo citate misure attraverso la cessione di mezzi, materiali ed
sta sostenendo il supporto fornito dall’Italia in risposta alle equipaggiamenti militari. Al riguardo, l’UE ha sin da subito
crisi internazionali. In particolare, a seguito dell’invasione deliberato varie tranche di finanziamento del fondo EPF
militare dell’Ucraina da parte della Russia il 24 febbraio per “ristorare” i Paesi contributori (nel 2025 sono stati

BILANCIO DELLA DIFESA In an era of strategic competition and complex security threats, the European Peace Facility (EPF) expands the EU’s ability

to provide security for its citizens and its partners. It enables the EU to provide all types of equipment and infrastructure
to the armed forces of EU partners, in compliance with international human rights law and international humanitarian law.

Investing in peace and security
The EPF maximises the impact, effectiveness and sustainability of overall EU external action in peace and security:

€ 17 BILLION The EPF is a fund worth €17 billion, including the dedicated Ukraine Assistance Fund
(2021-2027) (UAF) of €5 billion. It is financed outside the EU Budget for a period of seven years (2021-
2027), with a single mechanism to finance all Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP)
actions in military and defence areas.

SUPPORTING SECURITY AND DEFENCE GLOBALLY
With the EPF, the EU:

funds the common costs of military supports Peace Support Operations strengthens the capacities of third
CSDP missions and operations; led by international and regional States and regional and

MONITORING AND COMPLIANCE
The EPF includes measures to:
