PARTNERS’ CAPABILITIES
The European Peace Facility (EPF) expands the EU’s ability
to support partners, prevent conflicts, build peace, and
strengthen international security.
With €7.9 billion the EPF enhances the EU’s geopolitical
position as a global security and defence actor by:
+ providing lethal and non-lethal equipment to partners
+ financing peace support operations led by
international and regional organisations
+ providing equipment to complement EU training
+ supporting African-led Peace Support Operations with
€730 million (2021-2024)
